Patchwork Birthday Card

Hi All!

Today I made a patchwork birthday card to play along with Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday #159- No-sew quilted cards. I used scratch papers that were from the same pack a while back - sorry I don't have the name. I cut out four patterns in 1" squares, layed out my pattern, took a picture of it, then glued it all down. I used the hexagon die plate to make my background "quilted" pattern on top of the glued down background. Even though it is "quilted", I think that the color scheme is more masculine and I might be able to give it to a male. But, I'll run that by my hubby first :)

Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies:
Paper: kraft card stock, scraps
Stamps: PTI- rosie posie, bountiful banners
Ink: PTI- ocean tides, harvest gold; versamark
Other: generic yellow embossing powder; PTI- heart die border (the opposite edges)

  1. This is a great card for a masculine card! How clever of you to take a picture of it before gluing everything down. I know my card changed from its original layout.
