Hi All!
So, it has been a little while! I switched to working nights and combined with the 150 wedding invitations that we made, I have been a little stressed on time! However, I am happy to say that I am adjusting to the 7-7:30 night schedule and all of the wedding invitations are made and sent!!
Today I made two cards- one for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #45 Colored Embossed Images with Copics and the other is a wedding card for my cousin.
I embossed the wreath in white embossing powder and then colored over the "branches" with Copic Olive color. It is one of my two Copic markers. My brown paper warped when I embossed it, so I sewed it down to straighten in out.
My other card was actually the first one that I made today; the first one I've made in about 6 weeks actually! It took me sooo much longer to make than it usually does. I just sat and sat looking at my supplies before I was able to really get into it.
I embossed the images with clear embossing powder and then used two distress inks to color in the background. I also used the distress ink to color the pink pieces of paper.
This is our engagement picture that went out with the invitations :)
Thanks for checkin' it out!
